UF6 Stations

A very important special product for Metaflex is the station that has been developed for organisations active in the field of uranium enrichment. Both Urenco and the American USEC are important players in the field of uranium enrichment and use centrifuge technology. Metaflex has delivered more than 250 stations during the last decade and it has built up a huge expertise in dealing with: export controlled information, quality programmes, export licenses and, of course, all the rules and regulations that are applicable and are important in this niche market. Metaflex has delivered stations to Urenco in Almelo (he Netherlands), Gronau (Germany) and Capenhurst (United Kingdom). From 2008, Metaflex will be supplying all stations for the “American Centrifuge Project” of USEC in Piketon Ohio in the United States.

As well as these Feed Stations and Withdrawal Stations, Metaflex has also specifically developed a movable wall for uranium enrichment. Metaflex is constantly on the lookout for customers in the uranium enrichment market that are looking for new technologies.
